- The right to request the correction or rectification of your personal information whenever you notice that there may be inaccuracies in your personal information that we keep, or that certain aspects are incomplete.

- The right to withdraw your consent at any time when we are relying on consent to process your personal data
- The right to object to the processing of your personal data and to object direct marketing. You can let us know at any time if you don't want us to use your information for marketing purposes. Any email or communication you receive from us will contain an unsubscribe link for you to click on if you would like to stop receiving marketing emails from us.

This right will not be applicable where automated decisions are necessary for entering into or the performance of contractual obligations between you and us, authorised by written law that provides suitable measures to safeguard your fundamental rights, freedoms, and interests, or was authorised by your explicit consent
- The right to request that we temporarily limit the processing of your personal information pending the resolution of a request, an objection by you, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.
- The right to request the transfer of your personal information from Ductape to a third party - this is the right to portability of your personal data.
- You have the right to know about the safeguards in place when your personal information is transferred to another country.
- The right to submit a complaint to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)
How we store your information

Personal Data Breach
At Ductape, we prioritize data security and have implemented measures to prevent data breaches. However, in the event of a data breach, we have established comprehensive procedures for reporting and managing data breach incidents. These procedures address incidents involving the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to personal data.
When we become aware that a data breach that affects personal data has occurred, we will promptly notify affected individuals and the relevant authorities in accordance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations. The notification will include details about the nature of the data breach, the potential impact on individuals, and the actions we are taking to address and minimize any potential harm.
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant authorities within 72 hours, unless exceptional circumstances prevent us from doing so. We will also maintain records of all data breaches for reporting purposes and will report any breaches that will compromise your rights and freedoms to the Relevant Authority within 72 hours of discovery.

Storage Limitation
We will hold on to your information for as long as you continue to be a Ductape customer and for as long as we are required to keep it to comply with our legal and statutory obligations. We will also keep personal information for a period which enables us to handle or respond to any complaints, queries or concerns regarding our relationship with you.
If you wish to close your account, please notify us. Please note that we are legally required to retain some of your personal data even after account closure. This data will be kept securely and only for as long as is necessary to comply with legal and regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Use. We may also retain your personal information for a longer period if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you. We regularly review the personal information we hold and securely delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed for legal, business, or user purpose
